  Uganda has a superb abundance of wildlife including the amazing lowland gorillas, chimpanzees and plains game of the Queen Elizabeth National Park.
One of the least visited safari countries in Africa, Rwanda is also an ideal gorilla watching location with 350 mountain gorillas on the forested slopes of Parc National des Volcans
Despite their fierce reputation, gorillas are peaceable primates, the largest and most ferocious looking of the ape family, and the chance to view them from up close is a thrilling as well as an awe-inspiring experience.
   
  If you just want to see gorillas, Rwanda is a very easily accessible for a short break. Or combine gorilla watching breaks with a visit to Northern Tanzania or Kenya.
