As tall as a 20
storey building and just under 300 metres long, Costa Atlantica has a surface
area 20 times the size of the Olympic stadium in Rome. And just as impressive is
the attention to detail throughout the ship. The names of the decks are inspired
by the Italian film director Federico Fellini, with tributes to his art: from
the entertaining “Dolce Vita” photos to the original sketches of the film by
artist Milo Manara. On board the Atlantica cruise is the Caffè Florian,a
faithful reproduction of the famous café in St Mark’s Square in Venice. The
Club Restaurant is particularly stunning, located in the highest part of the
ship, under the glass ceiling with a view up to the sky, and connected to the
lower deck by a glass staircase. |
